One of the biggest goals behind our Recruiting Insider Membership has always been to give families, counselors, and advisors access to reliable recruiting information without requiring them to hire a full-service recruiting consultant. As the membership has grown, so have the resources.
We now have live office hours, recruiting guides, members-only articles, courses, direct access to our advisors, and an expanding library of resources covering different parts of the recruiting process. So we decided it was time to build a better home for all of it.
We are excited to introduce the new Recruiting Insider Membership dashboard, a centralized member hub designed to make it much easier to find resources, ask questions, attend events, and actually use all of the benefits included with your membership.
Instead of searching through emails or trying to remember where something lives, members can now log in and find everything in one place.
Your Recruiting Insider Home Base
The first thing members see when they log in is their personalized dashboard.
Think of this as your Recruiting Insider home page. It highlights upcoming office hours and events, provides quick access to the major areas of the membership, displays recent Insider articles, and even keeps track of how many Ask SAA inquiries you have remaining for the month.
We wanted members to be able to log in and immediately answer a few simple questions: What’s coming up? What’s new? Where do I go if I need help?
From there, each section of the dashboard gives you access to a different part of the membership.
Keep Up With Office Hours and Events
Live access to our team is an important part of Recruiting Insider, so we built a dedicated calendar into the dashboard.
Members can view upcoming office hours and other live sessions in monthly, weekly, or agenda formats. More importantly, you can subscribe to the calendar so events can be incorporated into the calendar you already use.
That means you don’t have to remember to check the site every week to see when the next office hours are happening. Subscribe once, and you have a much easier way to keep track of opportunities to join us live and ask questions.
A Recruiting Resource Library That Keeps Growing
The Resource Hub brings together our collection of recruiting materials developed by experienced consultants, coaches, administrators, and former student-athletes.
We have organized the library around the major areas families encounter during the recruiting process, including foundation building, recruiting essentials, college financing, and other important parts of navigating college athletics.
Most importantly, this isn’t intended to be a static collection of PDFs that we build once and forget about.
College recruiting changes constantly. NCAA rules change. Eligibility requirements change. Communication rules change. NIL changes. The questions families are asking change. Our goal is for the Resource Hub to continue evolving alongside those changes, with new and updated resources added as we identify areas where members need additional help.
Have a Specific Question? Ask SAA
This may be one of the most useful additions to the new dashboard.
Recruiting information is everywhere online. The problem comes when you have a question about your specific situation.
The new Ask SAA section gives members a dedicated place to submit recruiting questions directly to our team. The dashboard keeps track of your monthly inquiry credits, shows how many you have remaining, and maintains your inquiry history so previous questions and answers don’t disappear into an email inbox.
That gives you a place to ask about the strange email you received from a coach, an eligibility question you can’t figure out, whether a recruiting opportunity seems legitimate, how to handle a particular situation with your student, or whatever else comes up along the way.
Sometimes you don’t need a consultant managing your entire recruiting process, you just need someone knowledgeable to answer one important question.
Insider-Only Articles and Analysis
Members also now have a dedicated Insider Blog.
This is where we can go deeper on topics that deserve more detailed analysis or provide information specifically useful to people actively navigating recruiting. Members can browse articles by topic, including recruiting resources, offers, NCAA issues, legislation, and individual sports.
This also gives our team an opportunity to react quickly when something changes.
If there is a major NCAA rule update, a development affecting recruiting, or something we are seeing with the families and athletes we work with, the Insider Blog gives us a place to break down what happened and, more importantly, what it might mean for you.
Save 20% on SAA Courses
Some members want more than an article or quick answer. They want to really learn the process.
Recruiting Insider members now have their course discount built directly into the dashboard. Members receive 20% off all SAA courses, including our counselor education and family/student-athlete courses.
The Courses section provides the member discount code, along with direct access to browse the appropriate course options.
This is particularly useful for families who want to manage recruiting themselves but would like a structured education first, as well as counselors and advisors who want to become more knowledgeable about helping recruited student-athletes.
Make the Membership Your Own
Finally, we built a more customizable My Account section.
Members can manage their basic profile, billing, calendar settings, and login information. Depending on the type of member, they can also provide additional information that helps us understand who is using the membership.
Counselors and IECs can add their school, company, and professional role. Families can add information for up to four student-athletes, including their sports, graduation years, GPA, and test scores.
That may sound like a small feature, but it gives us an opportunity to make Recruiting Insider more useful over time. The better we understand who our members are, the better we can build resources, programming, and content around the questions they actually have.
More Than a Content Library
That is really what we want this new dashboard to accomplish.
We don’t want Recruiting Insider to become another subscription you sign up for, receive a few emails from, and eventually forget you have.
We want it to be something you actually use.
Log in when you have a question. Join us for office hours. Check the Resource Hub before emailing a coach. Read an Insider article when an NCAA rule changes. Take advantage of the course discount when you want to go deeper. Subscribe to the calendar so you know when we’re getting together next. When something comes up in recruiting that leaves you thinking, “I have no idea what we’re supposed to do here,” send it through Ask SAA.
College recruiting can get complicated very quickly. Recruiting Insider was created to make reliable information and experienced guidance more accessible, without requiring every family or counselor to navigate the process alone.
Now, we’re giving all of those resources a much better home.
